I downloaded about 7 different apps to learn katagana and this is the most helpful one so far. I be tried 5 already. Most of the others have charts only or have inefficient quizs. But this one app has quizs that change every time which improves its usefulness. :) recommend it!
This app is great for learning Hiragana and Katakana, best out of the 10 or so I downloaded!
My only gripe is that it would have been nice to have a flashcards/quiz section which was more customizable, allowing you to manually select particular characters giving you trouble, or allowing you to study all Hiragana/Katakana at once, instead of limiting you to twenty preselected characters.
Still, a minor issue, and a great and helpful app overall.

Very interesting tool to learn kanji. Thera theoretical and quiz parts. Very suitable and convenient. Highly recommended for people who started to learn Japanese.

Im in Okinawa and so far this app has given me a good start in learning the language. Really good app.

Id love if it had flash cards integrated, but the quizzes are almost the same. Very good overall, well worth the 99c!
This app is very easy and is definitely good for anyone new to japanese. I highly suggest this app for anyone interested.
Very nice learning tool. Im taking an intro Japanese course at UT Austin and this really helps with learning the kana. Only thing more this app could include is help with tracing kana on the iPhone. Then itd be 6 stars out of 5
